A. It's a noir-ish tale where good people may do bad things, 
bad people may do good things, and sometimes it might not be 
possible to tell the difference.  The lucky ones live to tell 
about it.


Q. Yeah, but do Mulder and Scully get to have sex and stuff?

A. Yes.


Q. Wait, that was too easy.  This sex, do they have it with 
each other?

A. Totally possible.


Q. When they're not having sex, what are they doing?

A. They're caught up in a murder that cuts very close to 
home.  The investigation reveals truths about each other that 
they may never have wanted to know.


Q. So are you making money on this story?

A. Sadly, not a sou.  Mulder, Scully, and other recognizable 
XF characters belong to FOX and 1013 Productions.  They are 
used here without remuneration.  And as for the baseball 
players whose names are borrowed off and on, they don't get a 
cent, either.


Q. So how long is this fic going to be, anyway?

A. Your guess is as good as mine.

Q. Help, I can't see the updates!  Why does the internet hate 
me?

A. Probably because you are using AOL.  AOL often loads a 
previously cached copy of the website, so you will not be 
able to see the new one until you clear the cache.  
Alternatively, you can always see the new chapter by changing 
the number in the URL to reflect the chapter you want.  They 
will be numbered sequentially:
